GAZelle NEXT Van has got a 2019 Car of the Year in Russia Award

Moscow, 17 May 2019 - GAZelle NEXT van was voted the Best Van in the 2019 Car of the Year in Russia Award. The vehicle won in the online voting competition with over million people to participate in it and vote.
GAZelle NEXT van got its third the Best Van Award of the Car of the Year in Russia competition. Over the last 10 GAZ vehicles have got 6 Best in Class awards of the prestigious car competition which is recognized to be the indicator of the independent public opinion in the Russian automotive market.

The main advantages to influence the consumer votes in the Best Van category were a combination of advanced functionality and comfort, loots of options included as standard and the best in class price.

GAZelle Next van production started at Gorky Automobile Plant in autumn 2015. The LCV became popular very quickly and is now exported to 18 countries.

At the moment there are two basic versions of GAzelle Next: cargo and cargo+passenger, each can be built on a standard, long and super-long wheelbase. Its GWT can be 6.5 or 4.6 t, with one of the three three following engines: diesel, gasoline and bi-fuel (gas/gasoline).

The Car of the Year in Russia Award is the largest car competition in Russia and the largest market analysis project in the world. it is the indicator of the independent public opinion in the automotive market. The voting was from 1 January 2019 to 14 April 2019 with any Russian citizen of legal age from any Russian region eligible to vote. Over a million people voted for their favorites, statistics says that most of them (84%) are men. The age varies from 25 to 44 y.o.
